The diversity of programs will appeal to people from all walks of life, including school-leavers, working professionals, mature-aged people and those wanting to re-enter the workforce. Many TAFE Queensland institutes also offer a range of accredited short courses that are ideal for professional development.

Students can enrol now directly into most certificate programs and a select range of diploma programs and enjoy the benefits of practical, value for money training delivered by teachers who are industry professionals.

What to do if you don't get an offer
Many TAFE institutes make offers to all eligible applicants. If you miss out however, courses are offered part-time and, in some instances, after six months' study, you may be able to transfer to full-time study.

Recognition of skills, experience and credit transfer
Using credit transfer, you may be able to reduce your course duration. This is possible if previous formal study or training is equivalent to the learning outcome for which a credit transfer is sought.
