How much will it cost?
Although you may not be required to complete any classroom activities, there are still costs involved with recognition of prior learning. In most cases the RPL process will cost less than formal training. The cost will vary depending on the units of competencies, the fee structure and assessment pathway required.
How long does it take?
In most cases recognition of prior learning assessment is completed within 12 weeks. However, gathering your evidence and if necessary undertaking gap training, will impact on the timeframe for receiving your qualification.
How do I apply?
Contact your local TAFE or the relevant TAFE institute offering the program and/or qualification for which you are seeking to recognition of prior learning in.
What do I get at the end?
A Certificate, Diploma or Statement of Attainments will be issued for units, programs and qualifications for which you successfully receive recognition of prior learning and or gap training.
