Support services

Juggling work, social life and studies together can be difficult. That's why at TAFE Queensland we are is committed to helping students reach their goals by providing support and services such as counselling, financial assistance and disability support.

At TAFE Queensland, education is personalised and supportive, encouraging students to reach their maximum academic potential. TAFE offers the following support services:

Learning support
Learning support is available for students enrolled in vocational qualification and people with literacy and numeracy difficulties.

Counselling
Counselling services are available at TAFE for vocational, educational and personal matters.

Disability services
TAFE provides support services and advice for learners with a disability.

Career support
Job placement officers are available at most institutes to provide career support for graduates seeking employment or click start your career with TAFEs employment matching service - e2e.NET.

Indigenous student support
Indigenous student support officers at each institute provide study support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people students.

Individual learning centres
Learning centres provide support for people from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Financial assistance
Financial assistance may be offered to full-time and part-time students.
