Registration
TAFE Queensland delivers a wide range of courses at 13 institutes across the state. View TAFE Queensland's map to find out more about TAFE locations and courses.
Please complete the following steps to register your interest to teach with TAFE Queensland.
1. Anticipated teacher demand areas and qualifications/licences required to teach
Prior to completing the registration form, please review the anticipated teacher demand areas and qualifications/licences listings (XLS, 647KB). This will assist you with understanding whether your qualifications/licenses meet the requirements to teach in TAFE Queensland and guide you towards selecting locations that anticipate vacancies.
2. Employment category
Choose whether you seek employment within the professional/technical or trade teacher categories. Please review the Teaching areas (XLS, 63KB).
3. Teaching areas
Based on your selection at step two, you can select your area of expertise. If you have more than one, please register separately for each one.
4. Identify your specialty areas
Based on your selection at step three, you can select one or more specialties within your area of expertise.
5. Choosing a work location
Based on your selection at step four, you can select one or more TAFE institutes that teach your speciality area.
6. Work availability
Upon nominating your preferred institute/s, you will be asked to confirm your availability to work at all campuses associated with the institutes. Maximise your opportunities by leaving the boxes ticked. If you prefer not to work at a listed campus, deselect the appropriate boxes.
7. Complete the remaining fields and press submit.
