Walt Disney World International Program
The Walt Disney World International Program is an internship program sponsored by The Walt Disney Company. TAFE graduates from all disciplines or fields of expertise are welcome to apply.
The duration of the program is 6 or 12 months, and students will be able to work in fully operational roles.
Students can also study subjects that are offered free to Australian students and have been recommended for credit by the American Council of Education.
There are two intakes per year.
Eligibility
To become eligible for this program you have to meet the following requirements:

The student must be at least 18 years old.

The applicant must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen and holder of an Australian/New Zealand passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the program end date.

The applicant must be an enrolled student, and have completed at least 1 year of study in an accredited TAFE, or be a recent graduate (completed a course of study within the last 12 months).
Fees and charges
The Disney International Recruitment (DIR) assists students with all preparations that are needed to be done before departure.
You are responsible for airfares, visa costs, and medical insurance fees.
The visa that the student will be issued is the US J-1 visa that is sponsored by Disney. Disney also provides 24 hour secure housing complexes and free bus transportation.
The entire program will cost the students $3,500 - $5,000 depending on the student's length of stay.
This is a paid internship and the pay rate varies depending on the position.
This program allows students to work at a Fortune 100 company that is a leader in the tourism and hospitality field.

Application process
Once an application is submitted the student will be set up with a phone interview with a recruiter from Florida. If the student is successful, then DIR will help the student through the entire visa and departure process.
