Tailored training by TAFE has made our staff more time efficient, which in turn has increased personal morale, team support and productivity. There is now more team communication within Loss Prevention and an information support network has been established. TAFE has been instrumental in providing staff with face-to-face training, skills gap identification and student mentoring to assist students to meet their qualification goals. TAFE assisted us in establishing a highly successful in-house traineeship program for Business Administration.
This included assisting with identifying sources of government funding, implementation of best practices, mentoring students as well as tailoring the formal training component to complement our on-the-job instruction.
