Community services, health and beauty

Are you a caring and compassionate person who enjoys helping people?

Community workers may work in specialised areas, such as with older people, people with disabilities or people with alcohol and other drug-related abuse issues. Childcare workers care for the social, emotional, physical and educational needs of infants and young children.

The demand for health workers is ever-present and the vocational learning offered through TAFE Queensland opens doors into a wide range of workplaces in both private and public health care.

The hair and beauty industry is focused on people looking and feeling good about themselves and many employment opportunities exist in hairdressing and beauty therapy.
