The program has been designed to help remove a major barrier to employment and improve participants' daily lives.

- Basic Language
- Advanced Language
- Advanced Language with Vocational Focus
Eligibility for, and duration of Language Literacy and Numeracy Programme classes
Students must be unemployed job seekers registered with Centrelink. Eligibility for Referral for Assessment is established by a local Centrelink officer, who will also outline other aspects of eligibility and criteria for training.
An individual pre-training assessment at a TAFE site, conducted by a fully qualified teacher, will then establish the student's training needs and goals.
For additional information refer to the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations or Centrelink.
