Support for apprentices and trainees
Vocational Language, Literacy and Numeracy Programs
Aim
To provide people engaged in vocational training with any additional language, literacy or numeracy training they need in order to succeed in their vocational training.
What is provided?
Funding will be allocated directly to TAFE institutes and Agricultural Colleges for students who are engaged in vocational programs which are funded through direct grant Australian Qualification Framework Level 1-4.
A large percentage of funds has been allocated through open tender for programs for trainees and apprentices enrolled in programs which are Australian Qualification Framework Level 1-4.
How and when to apply
Vocational language, literacy and numeracy provision for trainees and apprentices will be integrated with the Training Purchasing Contract.
