Flexible study
One of TAFE Queensland's major advantages is its flexibility. Study and training are available:
- full-time or part-time
- on campus
- online, by distance or
- in the workplace.
We can also tailor a combination of these modes of delivery (often referred to as 'blended learning'). TAFE can customise programs and timetables (depending on demand) to suit you, your lifestyle or your business.

Online courses
Many of our courses can be undertaken online, in the comfort of your own home or elsewhere.
Short courses (including ACE courses)
Upgrade your skills or cultivate a creative talent with one of TAFE Queensland's non-accredited short courses (including Adult Community Education or 'ACE' courses).
Our style of training: competency-based
TAFE offers competency-based training which places emphasis on what a person can do in the workplace as a result of completing a program of training.
