English language training for migrants and refugees
TAFE Queensland provides a number of both Commonwealth and State-funded English language training programs designed to prepare migrants and refugees for life and work in Australia.
'TAFE took me to a high level. My English classes helped me to do many things by myself, like shopping, helping my daughter with her homework, working in the community and completing further TAFE studies in Aged Care. My TAFE courses have helped me to be independent, get a good job and to help the community as well'.
