TAFE offers learning in natural resource conservation techniques; specialist skills for rural workers in the preparation and showing of beef stud cattle. As well as shearing shed skills, aquaculture, veterinary nursing, horticultural production skills, turf management and much more.

Horticulturists develop new methods of planting, garden design, landscaping, fertilising and harvesting crops and flowers.

Primary industries include farming, pest management, aquaculture, seafood farming and agricultural technology.
