Engineering, automotive and mining
Civil and mechanical engineering includes technical roles relating to mechanical or electrical equipment and support to civil engineers for construction. The automotive industry offers many career options such as motor mechanics, panel beating and automotive electrics engineering. Many of these roles can lead to a career in the resources sector and TAFE also offers specific courses for work in underground or open cut mines and drilling for gas.
