This course will enable endorsed enrolled nurses the opportunity to find their scope of practice extended in their work environment.

The course is being offered as a stand alone unit for the professional development of enrolled nurses and registered nurses. Students will receive a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion of this course.


This course covers:

  • Safe administering and monitoring of intravenous medication in the nursing environment.

Entry requirements

Students will need to be a qualified endorsed enrolled nurse.

There are three stages to this course. Attend the two hour workshop; followed by completion of a workbook and completion of a two hour assessment.
