In this unit the student will; Be presented with an overview of the history of ideas and technologies that have influenced and enabled the development of theatre and performing arts culture, from the foundation of civilisations tothe 16th century. Be provided with knowledge of the relationship between societies and the expression of theircultures. Be introduced to the cultural responsibilities of the performer.
