Course summary

This qualification provides a trade outcome in concreting operations for residential and commercial construction work.

Entry requirements

Pre-Requisites for this program include completion of OH&S - CPCCOHS1001A - Industry White Card Course and Year 10 or equivalent is desirable.

Students MUST be working in the concreting industry and have satisfactory completion of Year 10 (Qld) or equivalent.

Career Outcomes:  Potential career outcomes upon completion of this program include, Concreter; Concrete pump operator.

Study Pathways:  Once students have completed this program they can gain their Management for Licence Contractor & then QBSA Licencing - to be able to operate as a contractor in concreting

Resources required

Students must supply their own personal protective clothing and equipment suited to the general construction industry, such a steel cap boots, safety glasses, ear muffs/plugs and protective (reflective) Clothing.
