This qualification covers workers in children's services responsible for planning, implementing and managing programs in early childhood services (0-5 years) in accordance with licensing, accreditation and duty of care requirements. Workers have responsibility for supervision of other staff and volunteers. Additional training required to work across 0-12 years of age.
Entry requirementsEntry requirements include demonstrated competence in 12 additional CHC08 competencies. Additional training required to work across 0-12 years of age and candidates must demonstrate competence through a recognised training program or recognition process in a specified number and selection of units. Refer to CHC08 training package qualification structure for details.
