This program is ideal for individuals working in the community sector who provide a range of services and interventions to clients and/or who implement community education and interventions. This qualification defines the knowledge and skills required by support workers and community service workers who work autonomously under the broad guidance of others.
Entry requirementsStudents will be required to have, or be able to obtain a Suitability for Working with Children Blue Card. If you don't currently have one we can assist you in applying for a Student Blue Card.

Study Pathways: Upon completion of this program further study pathways include, Child, Youth and Family Intervention or Youth Work or progress to Diploma level qualifications in these fields or in Community Services Coordination. These programs can all articulate into University programs such as Bachelor of Human Services.
