The Adult Learning Services at Tropical North Queensland TAFE offers English programs which cater for permanent migrant residents of Australia wishing to learn to read and write English. These programs are designed to develop social language skills at post-beginner and pre-intermediate levels.
Location: Cairns campus, Innisfail campus.
Dates: 2013: Intake and Enrolments - January, April, July, October.

Subsidised child care may be available under the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) to enable eligible students to study AMEP formal classes, conditions apply. Childcare benefit may be available for other students attending language classes. Information and enquiries should be directed to their local Family Assistance Office in Centrelink.
