This course is for those wanting to develop the generic knowledge and skills in marketing management to ensure the marketing function is effectively conducted. Competencies developed include identify and evaluate marketing opportunities, establish and adjust the marketing mix and interpret market trends. Students may develop specialist competencies in direct marketing, public relations or international marketing.
Entry requirementsCompletion of Year 12 is recommended, Certificate IV in Marketing or other relevant qualifications is recommended. Those with no formal business qualifications but have worked in a supervisory marketing role is also suitable.
Job outcome Career prospectsCareer possibilities may include: Marketing manager, marketing team leader, product manager, public relations manager. This qualification will provide a pathway to the Advanced Diploma of Marketing or a range of other Advanced Diploma or university qualifications.
