Course summary

Trainees will achieve outcomes oriented towards manufacturing, engineering and production work. It includes the set up and operation of computer numeric machine (cnc) processes;foundry processes and automatic moulding equipment and furnace operations; stationary and mobile plant and packaging machines; or other production areas.

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements. Access to this training may be through a traineeship.

Attainment of this qual may lead to future employment in this industry as an apprentice. Note, this qualification is not suitable for persons working in the building and construction industry whose primary duties are the installation of metal roofs, facia barges and gutters.
