Queensland Training Awards
Queensland Training Awards winners announced
The Queensland Training Awards are the state's highest recognition for training celebrating their 52nd year in 2013.
A strong training system is a key part of the Queensland Government's commitment to grow a four pillar economy and reduce unemployment.
The Awards recognise people and organisations who strive for success, best practice and innovation in training.
Award categories recognise outstanding achievement by:
- completing apprentices and trainees
- school based apprentices and trainees
- graduates of certificate, diploma and advanced diploma courses
- small, medium and large employers who use training in their workplace
- training organisations, teachers and trainers.
Winning an individual award can give your career a great kick start and open many doors.
For businesses, winning an award helps to raise your profile, reward your employees and establish your business as an employer of choice.
Regional finals will be held throughout Queensland during July and Ausgust, culminating in the state final in Brisbane on Friday, 13 September. State winners will then compete in the Australian Training Awards in Perth in November.
Nominations for the Queensland Training Awards close on Friday, 5 April.
